The Villarreal Studio Closes the Academic Year in Recital at Indiana University

Students of the Villarreal Studio concluded the academic year with a studio recital at Indiana University, presenting a program of opera arias and art song in the Recital Hall.

The performance celebrated the artistic and vocal growth of the studio throughout the year, bringing together repertoire representing a range of composers, languages, and musical traditions. As the studio’s final performance of the academic year, the recital offered each singer the opportunity to share their work in performance and marked a fitting conclusion to a year of study, collaboration, and artistic development.

I am especially proud of the commitment, curiosity, and individuality these singers brought to their work throughout the year and to the stage.
